This site was built to be read, not to harvest information. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no contact form and no advertising network. The short version: we do not ask you for anything, and we do not track you.

What we do not collect

What the server records

Like every web server, ours keeps an access log. For each page request it records the requesting IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. If you use the search box, the words you searched for form part of the page address and therefore appear in that log.

These logs exist so the site can be kept running and secure — diagnosing errors, identifying abusive traffic, and understanding load. They are generated automatically by the web server, are not linked to any identity, and are not combined with information from any other source. They are held by our hosting provider and overwritten in the ordinary course of server operation.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Nothing is stored on your device by us. You should not see a cookie banner here, because there is nothing to consent to.

Links to other websites

Course and provider pages link out to institutions' own websites and to the official CRICOS register. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, governed by their privacy practices, not ours. We have no control over and take no responsibility for what those sites collect. It is worth reading their policies before submitting an application or enquiry.

Fonts and third parties

Typefaces are served from this site's own server. No font service, content delivery network, tag manager or embedded widget is loaded from a third party, so visiting a page here does not disclose your visit to any other company.

Children

This site publishes public information about education providers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including minors.

Accessing or correcting information

Because we do not hold personal information about visitors, there is generally nothing for us to give you access to or correct. If you believe we hold something about you, or you have a privacy concern about this site, write to us at the address below and we will respond.

Information about providers and courses

The listings on this site are drawn from the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students, published as open data by the Australian Government Department of Education. That register contains business information about registered providers, not personal information about individuals. If you represent a provider and believe a listing is wrong, the correction needs to be made in CRICOS itself — this site rebuilds from the official export each month and will pick the change up automatically. We can also be contacted directly.

Changes to this policy

If the site ever starts collecting information — for example if a contact or enquiry form is added — this page will be updated before that happens, and the date at the top will change.
